Biography

Lixin Rui trained as an oncologist in China and completed his PhD at the Australian National University. In 2006, he received a CJ Martin Postdoctoral Fellowship and started lymphoma research in Louis Staudt's lab at the National Cancer Institute. In December 2012, Dr. Rui joined the Division of Hematology/Oncology as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Rui's research in his lab focuses on lymphoma biology, with an emphasis on JAK-STAT signaling in lymphomagenesis.
