Biography
Anand P. Jillella, MD is a Professor in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology and the Medical Director of the Winship Cancer Network at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. In his role as Winship Medical Director, he leads the efforts of the Winship Cancer Network and expands Winship’s role in bringing clinical and population-based cancer research to communities throughout Georgia and surrounding states. Dr. Jillella received his Doctor of Medicine from the Government Medical College in Kurnool, India. He completed a rotating internship in Kurnool, followed by an internship at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where he focused on pediatrics and internal medicine. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine. He did intensive training in bone marrow transplantation at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology

Anil K Tripathi is presently a Professor and the Head of the Department (HoD) at Clinical Hematology at the eminent King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. He is an MD in Medicine, a fellow in Hematology NIH, Bethesda. His field of work is CML Multiple Myeloma ITP

Biography
Prof Tiziano Barbui, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua. He founded the Department of Haematology at the Ospedali Riuniti of Bergamo in 1981 where he was Chief Executive Officer from 1981 to 2008. He is Professor of Hematology at University of Milan-Bicocca and Scientific Director of Foundation of Clinical Research - FROM, Ospedale Papa Giovanni XXIII, Bergamo, Italy. He has had the honor of being President of the Italian Society of Hematology. He has directed many international research groups in Hematology and currently coordinates the scientific activities of a group of the European-Leukemia-Net WP9 on Myeloproliferative Disorders. He was one of the four founders of a scientific consortium funded by the American NIH on chronic myeloproliferative diseases. He has served as a chairman on the Subcommittee on Lupus Anticoagulant of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. During the plenary session of the European Society of Hematology (Stockholm in 2013) he received the Jean Bernard Prize, father of European haematology. The City of Bergamo awarded him the gold medal for his dedication to the sick and for his contributions to knowledge in Medicine. He is involved in other professional Societies, including the American Society of Haematology and the European Haematology Association. Main research interests are: Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN), Thrombosis in Cancer, Congenital and Acquired Thrombophilia, and outcome research studies. He has published 650 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals. He is among the top 50 Italian scientists in the field of Medicine and Immunology
