Dr John Batchelor is currently Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Central Manchester Foundation Trust, England UK. He is also Honorary Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University. He graduated from Leeds University England, in 1982.He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and Fellow of the Faculty of Emergency Medicine of England. He undertook his MD thesis at University College London. He has written extensively on the subject of minor head injuries.. He has presented a paper in Paris in 2012 on a Meta-analysis looking at the relationship between cerebral microbleeds and anitiplatelet agents. He has also recently published a meta-analysis on the effect on mortality of platelet transfusions in adults with spontaneous or traumatic antiplatelet associated intracranial haemorrhage. His current research interest lies in the area of risk factors for intracranial haemorrhage in both adults and paediatrics secondary to coagulopthy and thrombocytopenia.

Eliza Ng has received MPH, Health Polciy and Management from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health, USA. She is MD, Medicine from Drexal University School of Medicine. She is working as a Senior Medical Director in Care Management Organization of Montefiore Health System. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. She serves as a member of various associations apart from being an author for many books.

Maria Liakopoulou-Kyriakides has completed her PhD in Chemistry, Postdoctoral studies at Yale University, USA in the section of Cell Biology. She has joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, since 1981 and has contributed to its development as Professor of Bioorganic Chemistry, teaching several undergraduate courses and recently as Director of the graduate program in Chemical Engineering. Her administrative work as Chair (4 years), Vice Chair (4 years) and Director of section of Chemistry (10 years) of the Department of Chemical Engineering is also noticeable. Her research interests include synthesis of oligopeptides, chemical characterization and biological activity, isolation of bioactive compounds from plants and biological evaluation, microencapsulation of biological active compounds, microbial biotechnology (food and environmental) and bioremediation. She has coordinated many research projects and published over 100 peer-reviewed papers. She has organized and participated in several international and national conferences.

Enzi Jiang received her MD from Norman Bethune College of Medicine, Jilin University, formerly Norman Bethune University of Medical Science, Changchun, China in 1987. She completed her PhD from Harbin Medical University in 1999 and Postdoctoral research from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2007. She is working as a Senior Scientist at Division of Hematology and Oncology, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, USA. She has published more than 15 papers in reputed journals related to mesenchymal stem cells and leukemia and contributed to a book chapter (Chapter 4: Molecular Pathogenesis of ALL, Contemporary Management of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, In Press 2014). She has been serving as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Blood Disorders and Transfusion since February, 2013. Her research interests include overcoming drug resistance in ALL and related mechanisms.

Francesco is a medical physician, specialist in Immunohematology with a particular interests in cellular processing and manipulation. He took his degree "summa cum laude" in Medicine at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome in April 1994 and currently he is working in Cryolab as Medical Director and in University of Rome Tor Vergata where is Aggregate professor in Immunology, Immunohematology and Cellular Therapy. He also worked as Facility Director in Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesù. Its research activities are based on the study of hematopoietic stem cells transplant, cellular manipulations in haploidentical transplant and on the organization of biobanks. Additionally, Francesco has devised and implemented quality Plans and international excellence standards for continuous improvement in the stem cell processing laboratory. Since 2009 he was appointed as inspector for the Joint Accreditation Committee - International Society for Cellular Therapy & European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation."

Olfat M Hendy completed her MD at the age of 35 years from Clinical pathology deparetement, Menoufia Faclty of Medicine, Menoufia University, Egypt - and become professor of hematology & immunology at the same univerisity at 2009. She is the head of hematology unit at National Liver Institute- Menoufia University, Egypt. She has published more than 28 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. She was an supervisor on more than 32 MD and master thesis, and discussed more than 32 thesis. She is a membership in about 4 medical societies.

C Cameron Yin has received her MD from Beijing Medical University and her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Hematopathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition to clinical responsibilities on the Leukemia, Lymphoma and Molecular Diagnostic services, she has been actively participating in multiple research projects in the molecular genetic abnormalities in leukemia and lymphoma which has led to over 100 research papers and over 20 book chapters.
